Woman with healed heart

In 1917, Our Lady said to the three children at Fatima, Portugal, “In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.” She confirmed what we read in Genesis that it is a woman’s heart that will crush the head of Satan by the power of her Son’s victory over death.

Brother John Luth, MIC, heeding the words of Genesis, Our Lady, and every pope since Paul VI, convened a round-table on July 21 at the National Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, to hear from mothers about how the maternal heart is healing and saving the Church and the world. I was privileged to be asked to help plan and to moderate the discussion.

In this room, the voices of mothers were honored as the most important on earth, taking their rightful place as the helpers of Mary, who is crushing the head of the serpent of arrogance, division, and death, through patient love.

Brother John wanted to explore how the life-giving maternal heart could be brought, with all its power, to our parishes, dioceses, and to the world. The following article in the Fall issue of Marian Helper magazine reports on the path forward the women forged that day.

Love always,
Rose

    COMMENT VIA EMAIL:
The maternal heart, founded on the living reality of Mary, does indeed heal all large and small things in familial life.

It’s worth repeating this quote from Duke Ellington: “Love IS unconditional. It’s not ‘Where have you been?’ It’s ‘How are you?’”
