Beach sunrise

A friend said, “I love the beach in October.” That inspired me to revisit a trip to Rehoboth, Delaware, when my husband and I got up early one morning to film the sunrise. I invite you back to that quiet morning — as we meditate on the majesty of God in Psalm 8.

Can you smell the salty air?

Love always,
Rose

This was beautiful. Sitting by a small lake or the ocean has always been very special to me.

I forgot how lovely the sound of the surf is and I miss the sights and smells. Hopefully, Covid allowing, my friends and I will be at the beach in Cancun later this year!

Hi Rose. I am here in Rehoboth now so here all year round. I ocean cam is turned off this morning so it was a delight to see the sunrise through your film. How is your course in spiritual direction going.

      Elaine,
It’s going great. I really enjoy it and quite a few women have asked me to walk with them in their spiritual journey. Thanks for asking — and say hi to the beach for me!

Beautiful. I pray and get the same spiritual connection on my favorite beach “Anna Maria island”. Florida Anne- mother of Mary, (Maria). No coincidence I think!

“For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.”
    Psalm 8:5

I am thinking of our beloved pastor, Kenneth Fiedler, who died recently. He welcomed me into the church and I witnessed all the works he did on behalf of the poor, the homeless and immigrants who sought his shelter.

    Gorgeous, gorgeous,
It had to be done twice, and saved for a return.
    It reminded me of
Once in class the teacher of the psalms had a record of Ps. 8
    recited by a Rabbi
The ocean background makes the same kind of breathless setting.
    for the recital.
    Thank you, dear Rose. Margaret

God bless you for this beautiful video. I am homebound and had forgotten the beauty of the ocean and listening to the waves put together with my favorite psalms. This has brought tears of joy to my eyes and hope to my heart. Thank you!
